Event Information

The Sick Week schedule delivers a full-throttle, multi-day drag-and-drive challenge that brings street cars to drag strips across Florida and Georgia. Held annually, Sick Week typically runs in the late January to early February window and has become a marquee “season-opener” style week on the drag-and-drive calendar. It’s the kind of event where performance is only half the story—because every competitor has to prove their car can do more than just make a fast pass.

Sick Week is widely known for its “real street cars” focus, with competitors racing hard and then driving those same cars through mandatory road segments between venues. That drag-and-drive format is the heart of the event: competitive drag racing sessions at multiple drag strips, paired with on-road transits that have to be completed to stay in contention. Over the course of the week, the field battles for results that culminate in champions being crowned across a broad class structure.

If you’re coming to watch, you’ll see street-driven drag cars competing at multiple tracks as the week unfolds—one day you’re trackside for heads-up runs, and the next you’re following the journey as the event moves to the next venue. Sick Week crowns overall and class championships, with event coverage noting champions awarded across 17 classes. That wide range of classes helps create a packed schedule of action, variety, and serious competition from morning through the final passes of the day.

The multi-venue setup is also what makes Sick Week stand out as a spectator experience. With its multi-track format and the requirement that competitors complete the road legs between drag strips, the event leans into street-car legitimacy and endurance—not just peak horsepower. If you love the idea of racing that tests the whole package, Sick Week brings it to life across a full “week” of racing and travel.
