Team Information

The Portland Pilots Women's Basketball schedule is your guide to catching NCAA Division I hoops in the heart of Portland, Oregon. The Pilots represent the University of Portland and compete in the West Coast Conference (WCC), where every game brings fast-paced matchups and plenty of conference pride. With the program established in 1977, Portland women’s basketball has built a homegrown identity that shines brightest on campus.

Portland’s résumé includes two NCAA Tournament appearances (1994 and 1997)—a key era that put the Pilots on the national stage. In the postseason, the program has also made its presence felt in the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT), including a first-round win over Sam Houston (62–59) in March 2026. That blend of history and recent postseason moments makes it a fun program to follow as the WCC race heats up.

On game day, you’ll feel the difference of an on-campus setting—WCC basketball is known for that close-to-the-court energy. Portland home games center around student support and campus-based attendance, creating a lively, intimate atmosphere where every possession feels personal. Rivalry matchups against Gonzaga, Saint Mary’s, and San Francisco add extra intensity and make for can’t-miss nights in conference play.

The Pilots are led by head coach Michael Meek, and the program’s story includes notable alumni such as Jenny Huth, who played professionally in the WNBA and in Europe, and Becky Burleigh, a multi-time national championship head coach in NCAA women’s soccer at the University of Florida. When you’re ready to experience it in person, TicketPurchase.com makes it easy to be part of the excitement with secure tickets, real-time seat maps, and verified checkout.
