Iconic Band

The Mike Stern Band tour brings electrifying jazz fusion to stages around the world, showcasing a sound that blends sophisticated harmonies with the energy of rock and blues. The Mike Stern Band is a jazz fusion group from the United States built around guitarist and bandleader Mike Stern, whose virtuosic guitar work and melodic improvisation drive every performance. Stern first rose to global prominence in the early 1980s performing with Miles Davis, then cemented his voice as a leader with his 1986 debut album, Upside Downside.

With six Grammy nominations and a career spanning more than four decades, the band’s impact reaches across generations of jazz and fusion fans. Their sound balances blistering guitar solos, intricate rhythms, and bluesy phrasing, creating a live atmosphere that’s both adventurous and deeply musical. Mike Stern’s collaborations with artists like Blood, Sweat & Tears and Billy Cobham further underscore his influence on contemporary jazz guitar.
